Uniswap Foundation Closed 2025 With $85.8M on Hand
The group behind Uniswap's grants and ecosystem work committed $26 million in new funding last year as it moved into a governance overhaul and a broader product push.
The Uniswap Foundation ended 2025 with $85.8 million in total assets, including $49.9 million in cash and stablecoins, 15.1 million UNI, and 240 ETH, according to unaudited financials published Tuesday. It committed $26 million in new grants during the year and spent $9.7 million on operations, offering a clearer look at how much capital now sits behind one of Ethereum's biggest DeFi institutions.
That balance sheet was still the pre-overhaul version. The foundation said it received 20.3 million UNI from the Uniswap Treasury, worth about $114 million at year-end prices, plus $1.7 million in interest on fiat holdings. It also disbursed $11 million against earlier grant commitments and said its projected runway, before the late-December UNIfication changes, ran through January 2027. UNIfication was the late-December governance overhaul that reworked the foundation's place inside the broader Uniswap ecosystem and created a new legal entity called DUNI.
