Bitmine Pushes Deeper Into Ether
Bitmine now holds more than 4.53 million ETH, a position large enough to change how people think about staking queues, treasury concentration, and corporate influence inside the network.
Bitmine says it now holds more than 4.53 million ETH after buying another 60,976 ether in a single week. At that size, the story is no longer a simple treasury update. It is a question about concentration, staking power, and what happens when public companies decide that owning a large share of Ethereum's native asset is itself a business model.
The company says about two-thirds of its holdings are already staked. That puts the treasury in direct contact with validator economics, not just price action. Ether on a balance sheet can sit there like a passive reserve. Staked ether is different. It becomes productive inside the network. It earns yield, helps secure the chain, and ties corporate strategy to Ethereum's operating rules in a more intimate way.
