Bitmine Reaches 4.8 Million ETH Before NYSE Move

Bitmine said its ether holdings rose to 4,803,334 tokens, with 3.33 million already staked, as the company prepares to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on April 9.

Bitmine said Monday that its ether holdings reached 4,803,334 ETH as of April 5, up from 4,660,903 ETH in the company's prior weekly update. The company also said 3,334,637 ETH is already staked, or about 69% of the treasury. Bitmine is trying to turn a public-company ether stockpile into a staking machine that throws off operating income while it keeps buying more ETH.

Bitmine will leave NYSE American after the April 8 close and start trading on the New York Stock Exchange on April 9 under the same BMNR ticker. It now holds about 3.98% of the ETH supply and remains on its stated path toward 5%.
